On Sunday 18th September we organised a walk along the Manchester Peace Trail led by Steve Roman. The weather was kind and 20 people joined in. The walk highlighted Manchester’s connection and commitment to the International Peace movement, taking us to a number of sculptures, installations, buildings and places of historical significance and along with Steves’ encyclopaedic knowledge and the enthusiasm of a committed activist this was an inspiring and illuminating way to spend a Sunday morning! We raised £240 as a result of the walk which will go towards Phase 3 of the Sustainable Vegetable Project.
