We are currently supporting the Growing Hope sustainable vegetable farming project. Phase 1 is now complete. We have enabled the team in the camps to buy and put up the polytunnel and the first growing season has had a successful harvest.

Phase 2 is now also complete and the project has been able to buy a large site with two wells. This means water will no longer have to brought in and therefore a much larger harvest and variety of food can be grown.

Phase 3 is to open up and the wells and make them safe and then to move the polytunnel to that site ready for the next season. This will bring the project much closer to reaching their aim of becoming fully sustainable.
