- The very first growing season kicked off! The team planted inside a new polytunnel, bought seeds, and started growing vegetables.
- Because there was no well yet, they brought in water via tanker — storing it in tanks to water the crops.
- The project is planting to help families in the refugee camps eat healthier, more nutritious food.
- The Growing Hope project is run by Sahrawi people in the camps, supported by the Western Sahara Support Group in the UK.
- There’s a strong goal: eventually become self-reliant, not always needing outside aid.
