- Highlights:
- The Growing Hope team spent September–November 2023 getting the soil ready, planting seeds, and tidying the growing space in Laayoune camp.
- They built a 10 × 10 × 10 m water reservoir to improve irrigation and reduce salt build-up — meaning more efficient watering and more time to weed.
- By December/January, they were harvesting crops already — a great sign of progress.
- On New Year’s Eve at The Klondyke, they raised around £580 — big thanks to everyone involved.
